Could I win the Turner prize?

Over the years I have made more than my fair share of unusual items but one of my favourites is illuminated Makeup Mirrors which I craft for one of the leading professional Makeup Suppliers http://www.backstageshop.co.uk and their subsidiary http://www.fitzrobbie.co.uk  who also sell some of my other products. This year they have let me experiment with some different designs and the picture shows what proved to be a very popular design, and most definitely not your average mirror.

Its fair to say we have a close working relationship and I help them out every year at a couple of Makeup Trade shows catering for the film, theatre and special effects industry. Its always a fun day out , there are always makeup artists, at the top of their craft there demonstrating their skills and as a consequence you see a range and quality of characters unlike anywhere else you would ever go.

I have got into the habit of taking the same picture of a person looking into the mirror each time with a different character.

It may not win the Turner prize but I think its fun. Enjoyimage
